CPD Seminar - Negotiating the Regulations in Doorset and Hardware Design

Getting to grips with new and changing legislation, regulations and codes of practice can be a nightmare for busy professionals to ensure that the doorsets and hardware they specify, will comply with the latest regulations.

The seminar 'Negotiating the Regulations in Doorset Design and Specification' is fully accredited by RIBA and is geared towards 'buildings other than dwellings' - mainly health, education and public buildings, as well as high end commercial or leisure buildings. The seminar covers the Approved Documents in; Fire Safety, Resistance to Passage of Sound, Operational Safety, Access, Use of Buildings, and Safety in Relation to Impact.

Specifying is in compliance with British Standards. The Technical Memoranda for Health and Education is also covered in detail as well as satisfying the provisions of the DDA.
